The Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC) India team is seeking a Data Scientist II to join their dynamic team. This role combines data science and engineering expertise, focusing on building interactive dashboards and implementing AI/ML solutions.
The position involves working with Large Language Models, developing Power BI dashboards, and creating scalable data-driven frameworks. Key technologies include Kusto QL/KQL, SQL services, Power-BI, DAX, Function Apps, Data modelling, and Azure Data Factory.
As part of MSRC, you'll work in an agile, startup-like environment, collaborating with security researchers, industry partners, and Microsoft customers. The role offers a unique opportunity to impact Microsoft's security response capabilities while working with cutting-edge technologies.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in:

Responsibilities For Data Scientist II
- Conduct applied science experiments and develop ML pipelines for Large Language Models, NLP, and Information Retrieval
- Prepare and manage data for project plans and develop usable data sets
- Develop and deploy conversational and language understanding models at scale
- Follow best practices for Responsible AI and Privacy Preserving Machine Learning
- Ensure models align with business goals and evaluate their effectiveness
- Provide technical feedback and collaborate with broader MS Security teams
- Design and implement scalable data-driven frameworks
Requirements For Data Scientist II
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience OR Master's Degree AND 3+ years experience
- 3+ years of experience in machine learning
- 3+ years using ML tools like Pytorch and TensorFlow
- Practical experience with prompt engineering, fine tuning, OpenAI or Azure OpenAI APIs
- System development skills with long-range system view
