Microsoft Security is seeking a Security Assurance Engineer to join the Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC). This role is crucial in building and leading the end-to-end response process for security vulnerabilities reported to MSRC, working alongside security engineers and external researchers globally.

Responsibilities For Security Assurance Engineer

  • Drive Microsoft's end-to-end security vulnerability response process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security vulnerability reporting
  • Develop, monitor, and analyze key performance data
  • Collect and analyze security researcher, partner, and customer feedback
  • Recommend improvements to response process and engagement

Requirements For Security Assurance Engineer

  • 3+ years of experience in software development lifecycle, large scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection OR Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
  • 2+ years of experience in professional security vulnerability case management, triage, and communication
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud background check
  • Knowledge of Security Development Lifecycle (SDL)
  • Ability to explain complex technical and security concepts
