Senior Cloud Network Engineer

Microsoft's Azure WAN Team is seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to join their growing team. This role combines networking expertise with software development fundamentals, focusing on the global backbone network and collaboration with Azure Networking partners.

The position involves designing, developing, and building networking and automation components for the Wide Area Network. You'll be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of automation components, from initial test design through deployment and operational integration in both lab and production environments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing automated test frameworks using Python and Ansible
• Implementing OS upgrade automation with Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines
• Leading design, network/code, and security reviews
• Troubleshooting complex live site issues
• Collaborating across teams and engaging with stakeholders
