Join Microsoft's Gaming and AI RedTeam (MRT) as a Senior Security Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in protecting hundreds of millions of users by emulating advanced persistent threats. This position focuses on security for over 30 gaming studios and the CoPilot product suite's infrastructure.

As a Senior Security Engineer, you'll lead operations to identify and exploit vulnerabilities across application, cloud, network, hardware, and operational security domains. Working with Microsoft's Gaming and AI team, you'll contribute to the security of both gaming studios and AI infrastructure, while collaborating with developers and security personnel across multiple teams.

The role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, as you'll help foster the team's growth and develop the next generation of security talent at Microsoft. You'll adopt advanced tactics and techniques to provide critical insights that strengthen defenses against evolving digital threats.

Responsibilities For Senior Security Engineer

  • Discover and exploit vulnerabilities end-to-end in order to assess the security of services
  • Execute and lead Red Team operations using real world adversarial tactics and techniques
  • Advocate for security change across the company through building partnerships
  • Analyze data sources to identify potential security weaknesses
  • Prototype tools and techniques to scale and accelerate offensive emulation
  • Collaborate with Blue Teams to improve readiness
  • Analyze simulated adversary tactics and communications

Requirements For Senior Security Engineer

  • 5+ years of experience in: Identifying Security vulnerabilities, Cyber Security, Full Stack Development, Systems Administration or related security discipline
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years
