Description For Senior Service Engineer

Microsoft Digital (MSD) is seeking a Senior Service Engineer to join their team responsible for transforming end-user productivity across Microsoft's global workforce. This role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking to revolutionize the enterprise client experience.

The position involves managing and improving enterprise services, with a focus on device management through Intune and leveraging technologies like Power Platform, Azure, and PowerShell for automation. You'll be responsible for implementing high-performance solutions, monitoring telemetry data, and responding to complex issues while maintaining security and compliance standards.

As a Senior Service Engineer, you'll collaborate across teams to share insights and best practices, mentor other engineers, and drive innovation in service delivery. Key responsibilities include administering Client CA B service, transforming client experience through AI and automation, and leading Live Site governance to ensure service performance meets agreed outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of technical experience in software engineering or related fields, with specific expertise in enterprise service management and Intune device management. Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential, as you'll work with various stakeholders including product teams, security, and legal departments.

Responsibilities For Senior Service Engineer

  • Implement high-performance solutions across teams while maintaining quality
  • Create and monitor telemetry data to identify patterns and problems
  • Respond to incidents and complex issues with troubleshooting and automation
  • Collaborate within and across teams to share information and resolve conflicts
  • Administer Client CA B service and govern client production baseline
  • Transform client experience through AI and automation
  • Design and implement change management programs
  • Lead Live Site governance of key business/service metrics

Requirements For Senior Service Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing and improving enterprise services
  • 3+ years of experience managing devices with Intune
  • 3+ years of experience with Power Platform, Azure, Power BI, and/or PowerShell scripts
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud background check
  • Must be eligible to access export-controlled information
