Senior Site Reliability Engineer - CTJ - Top Secret

Microsoft's Office 365 Enterprise Cloud team is seeking a passionate Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our mission-critical government cloud services team. This role sits at the intersection of high-scale services and national security, working with Microsoft's most sensitive government customers.

As an SRE, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of Office 365 government cloud offerings. The role combines software development expertise with operational excellence to design, implement, and maintain highly available distributed systems. You'll work with cloud versions of Microsoft's most trusted products like Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of technical experience and thrives in a fast-paced environment where quality and security are paramount. You'll need an active Top Secret clearance (with willingness to upgrade to TS/SCI with polygraph) and U.S. citizenship due to the sensitive nature of the work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Architecting and developing software solutions to protect O365 government clouds
• Owning service reliability metrics and customer escalations
• Implementing proactive monitoring and automated remediation
• Collaborating across engineering teams on system design and improvements
• Driving operational excellence through root cause analysis and process optimization
