Senior Software Engineer - CTJ - TS/SCI

Microsoft is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Cloud Transfer Service team, responsible for enabling secure data transfer between clouds, including sovereign and air-gapped environments. The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance (with willingness to upgrade to include polygraph) and U.S. citizenship due to the sensitive nature of the work. The successful candidate will be part of a team that enables Azure services to be consumed in highly secured and regulated industries.

Key responsibilities include acting as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for service monitoring, developing scalable solutions, improving test coverage, and maintaining live service operations. The role involves working with large-scale distributed systems and requires strong expertise in languages such as C#, C++, PowerShell, Java, JavaScript, or Python.

The compensation package is competitive, with a base salary range of $117,200 - $229,200 USD annually (higher for San Francisco and New York City locations).
