Senior Software Engineer (Front-End)

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Platform organization at Microsoft is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Front-End) to join their Evaluation AI team. This role focuses on building and scaling the front-end for the next generation Generative AI (GenAI) app evaluation and monitoring platform.

The position involves working within the AI Platform organization that builds the end-to-end Azure AI stack/PaaS, which is core to Azure's innovation and differentiation. The team is responsible for Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning (ML), Cognitive Services, Azure AI Foundry, and the global Azure AI infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing software using TypeScript, JavaScript, and React
• Identifying requirements, scoping solutions, and estimating work
• Establishing robust and maintainable architecture and designs
• Promoting good coding standards and patterns
• Collaborating with partner teams on Azure ML and Azure AI capabilities
• Responding to and integrating customer feedback
• Leading by example in engineering practices
