Service Engineer - CTJ - Poly

Microsoft is seeking a Service Engineer to join their Silver Infrastructure and Operations team supporting Secure Work Area operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with engineers enabling Azure services for highly secured and regulated industries. The position requires managing infrastructure for collaboration within an airgapped environment, focusing on meeting security policy and assurance requirements for both public and private sector customers.

The ideal candidate will contribute to service design by optimizing technology configurations, considering factors like cost management, service health, security, and reliability. They will be responsible for monitoring system telemetry, responding to incidents, and implementing scalable solutions across teams. The role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to share technical insights and best practices.

Key responsibilities include identifying security issues, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring adherence to security policies. The position demands expertise in service design, system interactions, and infrastructure dependencies at scale. The successful candidate will participate in on-call rotations and contribute to continuous improvement through post-incident reviews and documentation.

This role offers competitive compensation, with a base pay range of $98,300 - $193,200 per year (higher in SF Bay area and NYC).
