Software Engineer II

The Glint product joined Microsoft as part of the Employee Experience (EXP) organization which includes Viva Engage, Viva Learning, Viva Insights and more. As a Software Engineer II in Viva Glint, you will join a team working on AI, analytics and reporting, big data and Viva app integrations. You will build scalable and performant services using engineering best practices and work hands-on with analytics and reporting systems written in Java, and offline data systems all running on Azure.

You will work to evolve the product with a customer-first approach and drive innovation, empathizing with our end-users' needs and engaging to help define their key experiences. This opportunity will allow you to closely work with other engineers, managers, product, design and operations teams to create solutions that meet business requirements, and to drive engineering and operational excellence in Viva Glint.

The role involves developing full stack applications using Web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, React, CSS, Typescript on the front end. You'll be working with stakeholders to determine service and user requirements, contributing to design documents, implementing code, and breaking down larger work items into smaller tasks.
