Founding Engineer

Momentic is revolutionizing software testing by leveraging cutting-edge AI to automate tedious tasks. As a founding engineer, you'll join a team of six, working across the entire technical stack from AI foundations to customer-facing applications. This role offers significant influence over company direction and direct impact on major customers like Quora, Retool, and Chegg.

You'll take ownership of end-to-end feature development while working in a highly cross-functional capacity. The role involves coding, customer interaction, documentation writing, and support case resolution. Key projects include AI test generation with auto-healing capabilities, AI-powered network request mocking, and developing a Notion-like test creation editor.

The ideal candidate should be product-focused with strong customer empathy, capable of tackling complex technical and product challenges in the fragmented software testing space. You'll need practical experience with LLMs, React, and NextJS, plus excellent communication skills. The role requires presence in San Francisco, working from our SoMa office.
