As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of designing and building Nash's core systems. Working directly with the CTO and founding team, you'll develop scalable services and APIs that power our logistics platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the architecture of a system serving major retailers like Walmart and 7-Eleven.
The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of experience building scalable backend systems, with strong Python expertise and deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS). You'll be responsible for designing high-performance services, implementing efficient data structures, and ensuring system reliability through proper monitoring and observability practices.
We're a well-funded startup backed by Y-Combinator and a16z, founded by experienced entrepreneurs from MIT and Palantir. Our mission is to process a significant percentage of all last-mile transactions, and we're already seeing strong market traction with major retailers.
