Nava, a consultancy and public benefit corporation, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Salesforce to join their mission of making government services simple and effective. The role focuses on improving engineering quality through documentation, technical guidance, and mentoring while leading significant migration efforts. You'll work with government stakeholders and other contractors to build and enhance systems, particularly focusing on Salesforce integration and modernization. Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer (Salesforce)
- Working with fellow Nava engineers to design, review, and build well-crafted software
- Collaborate with government partners and other contractors to architect, implement, and deploy new systems
- Working in an agile manner to efficiently ship new features
- Creating tools and processes to automate development, testing, and production workflows
- Writing and reviewing technical documentation, performing code reviews
- Participating in on-call rotation to support production systems
- Assist in developing the overall vision for salesforce updating and integration
- Implement merge of 2 similar Salesforce orgs
- Integrate with external data sources
- Analyze existing Apex code and determine what should be kept, rewritten, or moved to a Flow
- Consolidate and improve data models
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer (Salesforce)
- At least 5 years of experience in agile, multidisciplinary team environment
- Experience with AWS and SQL databases
- Understanding of user interface design best practices
- Demonstrated ability to integrate Salesforce into enterprise level cloud applications
- Experience designing and building medium to large-scale Salesforce applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- May be subject to a government background check or security clearance
