This role combines data engineering expertise with distributed systems knowledge to build and maintain critical data infrastructure. The position offers a competitive salary range of $170,000 - $720,000, with the unique Netflix approach of choosing your preferred mix of salary and stock options.

The role involves building sophisticated data processing systems, from batch pipelines for business metrics to real-time services supporting core product features. You'll work at the intersection of business, engineering, and data science, helping teams leverage data for better decision-making across Growth, Finance, Product, Content, and Studio domains.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in languages like Java, Scala, or Python, with strong SQL skills and experience with big data technologies like Spark or Flink. You'll need to demonstrate expertise in distributed data processing, software engineering, or data modeling, while maintaining Netflix's high standards for data quality and documentation.
