Description For Software Engineer (L5) - Developer Enablement Tooling

Netflix is seeking a Software Engineer (L5) for their Developer Enablement Tooling team in Warsaw, Poland. This role is part of the Infrastructure Engineering organization, specifically within the Engineering Operations team. The goal is to increase the productivity of Netflix developers by promoting the adoption of Paved Path products and facilitating onboarding, learning, and support for Netflix engineers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in all aspects of software development
  • Understanding customer needs through collaboration
  • Creating tools to increase efficiency in Paved Path Discovery, Learning, and Engineering Support workflows
  • Collaborating via various communication channels
  • Continuously learning new systems and tools

Requirements:

  • Experience in developing software applications and designing APIs in Java, Python, Go, with knowledge of React and JavaScript
  • Passion for solving developer productivity challenges at enterprise-scale
  • Action-oriented with a deep care for software development craft
  • Ability to work across the stack, primarily backend with flexibility for frontend
  • Self-driven and motivated to deliver top-tier solutions
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
  • Embrace of best practices and continuous improvement
