Founding Engineer

At Nowadays, our mission is to simplify the process of bringing people together by leveraging cutting-edge AI to automate the complexities of event planning. Our vision is to become the go-to platform for organizing events, making memorable experiences accessible and easy to plan for everyone, everywhere.

We've proudly planned events ranging from Amazon's intimate executive dinners in New York, to Quantstamp's product launch in Turkey, to Google's offsite at Universal. Within the first 6 months of launching, Nowadays has experienced exponential growth, growing from $0 to $2M in booked revenue from customers including Amazon, Google, and Notion.

As a founding engineer, you'll be instrumental in driving technological innovations that make this mission a reality, transforming the event planning landscape and creating seamless experiences for our clients. You'll be working with Next.js and Supabase applications, managing our database of 400K venues and vendors, and continuously iterating on our AI models to enhance negotiation, contracting, and payment processes.

Our leadership team comprises talented MIT software engineering graduates with prestigious backgrounds including Google, Meta, Amazon, DoorDash, and McKinsey.
