NVIDIA is seeking an exceptional Senior ASIC Front End Infrastructure Engineer to join their team developing core Verification and RTL infrastructure for world-leading GPUs. This role sits at the intersection of hardware design and infrastructure development, supporting products ranging from consumer graphics to artificial intelligence, self-driving cars, and supercomputers.
The Infrastructure team is dedicated to maintaining and upgrading NVIDIA's Hardware design environment, ensuring it operates seamlessly at a global scale. The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving complex technical challenges, particularly those involving rare and difficult-to-reproduce flow failures. They will be responsible for implementing and deploying cutting-edge solutions, both internal and industry-standard, while measuring and improving system efficiency.

The role combines technical expertise in ASIC verification, infrastructure development, and modern development practices like CI/CD. Responsibilities For Senior ASIC Front End Infrastructure Engineer
- Define and deploy ML/AI techniques to improve Infrastructure efficiency and support
- Improve the speed, flexibility and extensibility of the GPU front end build flow
- Maintain and enhance GPU Continuous Integration system
- Guide compute farm, filer, and network topology requirements
- Deploy new compute farm technologies including containers, volume cloning, distributed storage and compute at scale
- Deploy tracking metrics for operational issues, forecasting, and design productivity
- Implement information security methods for HW design
- Identify and remove inefficiencies in the system
Requirements For Senior ASIC Front End Infrastructure Engineer
- Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of relevant work experience
- Programming proficiency in Python, Perl, or other Systems Programming language with OO design preferred
- Experience with Make based build systems in large, distributed computing environments
- Continuous Integration pipeline and/or pre-submit verification flow experience
- Ability to root cause and fix Infrastructure problems
- Verification domain knowledge with complex ASICs or CPUs
- Strong problem-solving, debugging and analytical skills
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities
