Senior DevOps Engineer

The DevOps team is responsible for two main areas: accelerating software delivery and boosting engineering productivity through building tools to automate delivery pipelines, and designing and operating the infrastructure backbone which underpins Odeko's platform, applications and services. By delivering a highly available, scalable and secure infrastructure, we support Odeko in its missions to deliver innovative technology solutions for independent businesses.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll build automation tools and techniques to accelerate software delivery pipelines, design and operate AWS/Kubernetes based secure infrastructure, increase observability and monitoring, serve as a technical guide on cloud infrastructure and security, and mentor junior team members. You'll work with modern infrastructure tools like AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of production-level experience with cloud environments, 2+ years with modern software delivery methods, expertise in Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-Code, and a strong desire to work with AWS best practices. Experience with monitoring tools like ELK, CloudWatch, and Sensu is essential. Bonus points for Disaster Recovery Architecture experience and mentorship in a startup environment.
