Onyx is an open source generative AI platform that's revolutionizing how companies access and utilize their internal knowledge. As their first Developer Relations Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling their thriving community and driving growth.

The platform has already gained significant traction with over 10K GitHub stars and 3K+ community members across Slack and Discord. You'll be the primary bridge between the development team and the community, managing multiple channels including Slack, Discord, and GitHub.

Your responsibilities will include leading technical community initiatives through webinars, hackathons, and conferences, while creating engaging technical content to educate and grow the community. You'll establish contributor guidelines, mentor community members, and ensure high-quality contributions to the project.

The role requires a strong engineering background (3+ years minimum) as it's highly technical in nature. You'll need excellent communication skills to create clear technical documentation and content, plus the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Backed by prestigious investors like Khosla Ventures and First Round Capital with a $10M seed round, Onyx serves notable customers including Netflix, Ramp, and Applied Intuition. The platform is also used by major open source users like Roku, Zendesk, and L3Harris.
