Description For IAM Engineer

OpenAI is seeking an IAM Engineer to join their IT organization. This role is crucial in managing and optimizing user access and identities, primarily using AzureAD within the enterprise IT team. The IAM Engineer will be responsible for developing scalable IAM solutions, automating processes for efficiency, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing identity access and configurations using AzureAD
  • Developing and implementing access management policies and procedures
  • Customizing provisioning and de-provisioning processes
  • Collaborating with the enterprise security team
  • Leading initiatives to improve identity and access management practices
  • Implementing automated processes for user lifecycle management

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Deep technical expertise in Azure Active Directory and identity management systems
  • Advanced skills in scripting and automation (Python and PowerShell)
  • Extensive experience with identity governance and administration platforms
  • Expertise in deploying and managing access control mechanisms
  • Proficiency in designing and enforcing access policies and procedures
  • Experience in implementing streamlined and automated access solutions

Responsibilities For IAM Engineer
