Data Engineer

Optimove, a leading global marketing tech company with ~500 employees across NYC, LDN, and TLV, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their Tech Organization. This role is central to their ongoing cloud migration initiative and requires a strong technical background in data infrastructure, architecture design, and pipeline building. The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of data engineering and cloud technologies, collaborating with various teams including Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Support staff.

The position offers an opportunity to work on critical data infrastructure projects in a fast-growing environment that promotes internal growth - with 2 of every 3 managers promoted from within. The role involves designing and implementing sophisticated data pipelines, creating tools for various teams, and working closely with the core data science team on ML features.

The successful candidate will need 4+ years of SQL experience, strong Python programming skills, and experience with modern data technologies like Snowflake or BigQuery. They should be comfortable with big data environments, microservices architecture, and have a strong foundation in schema design and data modeling. Additional experience with tools like Airflow, GCP services, Docker, Kubernetes, and streaming technologies (PubSub/Kafka) would be advantageous.
