Job Description
Oracle is seeking an experienced AWS Architect to join their team in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise in AWS services with strong automation and DevOps practices. As an AWS Architect, you'll be responsible for designing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and driving automation across the organization.
The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of experience with AWS and Unix administration, along with strong programming skills in Python and expertise with modern DevOps tools like Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. You'll work closely with development teams to architect cloud solutions, optimize resource usage, and maintain security best practices.

Responsibilities For AWS Architect
- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC
- Automate the provisioning and management of AWS resources using Infrastructure as Code tools
- Collaborate with development teams to understand their requirements
- Develop and maintain Python and shell scripts to automate routine tasks
- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them in a Kubernetes cluster
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with AWS security and compliance best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Advocate for a No-Ops model
Requirements For AWS Architect
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in AWS and Unix administration
- Proficiency in Python and shell scripting
- Expertise in cloud automation and Infrastructure as Code tools
- Strong Unix administration skills
- Experience with containerization technologies
- Understanding of security practices
- Ability to quickly triage and deploy solutions
