Description For Cloud Support Engineer

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is building the next generation IaaS cloud service along with providing a world-class cloud support experience. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you'll be part of a dynamic team that bridges product engineering and customers. You'll troubleshoot complex technical issues, manage incidents, and handle customer-facing support while working in a 24/7 shift environment. The role requires strong technical skills in cloud platforms, excellent communication abilities in both English and Japanese, and a passion for customer service. You'll work with cutting-edge cloud technology while representing Oracle to enterprise customers and influencing product development through customer feedback.

Responsibilities For Cloud Support Engineer

Provide customer support and troubleshoot complex Cloud/IaaS/PaaS/Database technical problems
Work directly with customers to resolve technical issues
Represent customer on escalated issues and bridge calls
Consult with customers on complex use of Oracle products
Create and review Knowledge Articles and Runbooks
Analyze workload and implement best practices
Collaborate with stakeholders including Service & Development teams
Participate in 24/7 shift rotation
Act as Customer advocate

Requirements For Cloud Support Engineer

Linux

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
3-5+ years of experience
Experience in cloud technical support and operations (OCI/AWS/Azure/GCP)
Strong Japanese (N2+) and English communication skills
Strong understanding of cloud concepts and platforms
Experience with Linux and system administration (preferred)
Client facing experience supporting enterprise customers
Ability to quickly learn new technical domains
