Oracle Cloud Operation Engineer

Oracle is seeking a Cloud Operation Engineer to join their Finance GIU - Banking-Application Management Support team. This role involves taking complete responsibility for supporting and maintaining OCI cloud-based applications, environments, and databases. The position requires expertise in Kubernetes, Oracle Database administration, and cloud infrastructure management.

The ideal candidate will be part of a 24x7 Production Operations team supporting SaaS customers and banking cloud services. They will need strong troubleshooting skills and experience with ticketing systems, monitoring cloud services, and handling both critical and non-critical issues. The role demands excellent communication skills as it involves interaction with various stakeholders including customers, management, and engineering teams.

Key technical requirements include proficiency in Kubernetes, Oracle Database administration, OCI or other cloud platforms, and Linux systems. Additional valuable skills include experience with Autonomous Database, automation, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and disaster recovery procedures.
