This is a greenfield opportunity to build new AI-native cloud applications from scratch. As a Principal Data Scientist, you'll lead the development of sophisticated machine learning solutions, including RAG models, large language model fine-tuning, and advanced NLP applications. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate these solutions into production systems, ensuring they meet healthcare industry needs.

Responsibilities For Principal Data Scientist - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure
- Design and develop medical language learning solutions through language models
- Develop medical code and group code using large language models
- Work on contract interpretation
- Transform rules and workflows into decision trees using deep learning ML models
- Design and optimize RAG models for information retrieval
- Fine-tune large language models for healthcare use cases
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate ML models into production systems
- Work with Engineering team for training data acquisition and data analysis
Requirements For Principal Data Scientist - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related experience
- 8 years of experience in data science
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
- Solid understanding of NLP fundamentals
- Expertise in developing RAG models and fine-tuning large language models
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with machine learning libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or R
- Comfortable with ambiguity and strong sense of ownership
