Principal Datascience and AIML Engineer

Oracle Customer Success Services is seeking a Principal Data Science & AIML Engineer to join their CSS CDO Architecture & Platform team. This role combines cutting-edge AI/ML development with enterprise-scale software architecture, focusing on building scalable, distributed, and resilient services for OCI & Oracle Cloud Applications.

The position sits within Oracle's Customer Success Services Engineering division, responsible for designing and managing solutions for Oracle's managed cloud business. Working in a garage culture environment, you'll be part of a team that emphasizes innovation, scalability, and robustness in cloud-native digital transformation.

As a Principal Engineer, you'll lead the development of machine learning systems, from architecture design through operational readiness. Key focus areas include building recommendation engines, NLP & transformers, computer vision, and generative AI applications. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including PyTorch, TensorFlow, and various RAG techniques while ensuring integration with enterprise-scale distributed systems.

The role requires deep expertise in both traditional and modern ML/AI approaches, combined with strong software engineering practices.
