The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, scalability, and reliability of applications while leveraging expertise in Kubernetes, automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities For Principal Engineer - DevOps
- Manage and maintain our products within a Kubernetes setup on Oracle Cloud infrastructure
- Ensure the smooth operation, scalability, and reliability of our applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, stability, and security
- Automate deployments and infrastructure management using Terraform
- Manage multi-region deployments to ensure high availability and disaster recovery
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Utilize GitLab and Git for version control and collaboration
- Leverage Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration
Requirements For Principal Engineer - DevOps
- MCA, BE, or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Over 8 years of experience in managing large-scale customer-facing web services
- Solid understanding of Cloud PaaS/SaaS/IaaS environment
- Strong understanding of automation and orchestration principles
- Proficient in one or more programming languages: Bash, Python, Golang, PowerShell, JavaScript
- Strong skills in Kubernetes and experience managing applications in a Kubernetes environment
- Experience automating deployments using Terraform
- Knowledge of GitLab setup and Git
- Knowledge of Jenkins
