Principal Technical Operations Engineer

As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation of production environments, including systems and databases, supporting critical business operations for Japan's governmental sovereign cloud environment. You will perform administration and analysis for multiple production environments and recommend solutions to improve availability, performance, and supportability.

This role combines deep technical knowledge with administration/analysis expertise of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure to provide escalation support for complex production environment problems. You'll tackle challenges related to immense growth, scaling, cloud leveraging, high performance, and high availability requirements.

• Leading problem management cases and providing management status
• Guiding junior engineers in solving complex problems
• Participating in large-scale incident bridges
• Building new processes and procedures
• Working in both Japanese and English environments
• Supporting 24/7 operations with rotation across day and night shifts
