Principal Technical Operations Engineer

As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation of production environments, including systems and databases, supporting critical business operations for Japan's governmental sovereign cloud environment. You will perform administration and analysis for multiple production environments and recommend solutions to improve availability, performance, and supportability. This role combines deep technical knowledge with administration/analysis of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure to provide escalation support for complex production environment problems. You'll guide junior engineers, participate in large-scale incident management, and help build new processes. The position requires native Japanese and business-level English skills, with experience in Linux administration, cloud operations, and modern DevOps tools. You'll work in a 24/7 support environment with rotating shifts, focusing on maintaining high availability and performance for critical government cloud infrastructure.
