Principal Technical Operations Engineer

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Principal Technical Operations Engineer to join their Sovereign Cloud team. This role focuses on building and operating government, classified, and sovereign cloud regions with the same reliability and high performance as their public cloud.

As a Principal Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing production environments, including systems and databases, supporting critical business operations for Japan's governmental sovereign cloud environment. Your role involves performing administration and analysis for multiple production environments and recommending innovative solutions to improve availability, performance, and supportability.

This position offers an opportunity to leverage deep technical knowledge with administration/analysis expertise of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure to provide escalation support for complex production environment challenges. These challenges include managing immense growth, scaling, cloud leveraging, and maintaining extremely high performance and availability requirements.
