Senior Applications Developer

Oracle is seeking a Senior Applications Developer to join their Fusion development team. This role involves analyzing, designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for commercial applications. As a member of the software engineering division, you'll work on Oracle's Fusion Global HR, Talent, Configuration Workbench, and Compensation product areas.

The position requires performing high-level design based on external specifications, implementing changes to existing software architecture, and building complex enhancements. You'll be responsible for creating and executing unit tests, reviewing integration plans, and collaborating with QA teams to ensure product quality and consistency.

This is an IC3 (Individual Contributor) level position requiring independent judgment and full competency in the area of expertise. The role may include project lead responsibilities and supervision of junior personnel. The ideal candidate will have strong object-oriented programming skills, particularly in Java/J2EE technologies, and database fundamentals including SQL and PL/SQL.
