Senior Linux Kernel Developer

Oracle is seeking a Senior Linux Kernel Developer to join their team working on kernel support for new hardware platforms, including smartNIC platforms. This is a development role, not a systems engineer/admin position, requiring deep expertise in Linux kernel development and embedded systems.

The role involves critical responsibilities such as backporting kernel patches, analyzing and debugging software/hardware problems, implementing bug fixes and new features in the Linux kernel, and conducting stress and performance testing of new hardware platforms. As a senior developer, you'll provide technical leadership to other software developers and contribute to the architecture of existing systems.

The ideal candidate should have 3-5+ years of experience with strong backgrounds in Linux kernel development, kernel panic analysis, embedded systems, and assembly language programming.
