The Compute Repair team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is focused on enabling customers to achieve their objectives by minimizing downtime and interruptions. The role involves working on cloud compute infrastructure that will continue to grow with increasing datacenter footprints and AI workloads. The team envisions automated fleet health management through automated agents that continuously learn and improve.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for owning the software design and development of major components of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be both an excellent coder and a distributed systems generalist, capable of diving deep into any part of the stack and low-level systems, while also designing broad distributed system interactions.

The role requires someone who values simplicity and scale, works well in a collaborative, agile environment, and is excited to learn. After completing onboarding and learning existing systems, you would be expected to provide technical leadership to other software developers.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges ($79,800 to $178,100) to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations. Candidates are typically placed within this range based on these factors as well as internal peer equity.
