Senior Member Technical Staff (JoinOCI-SDE)

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join their Compute Instance Maintenance Management (CIMM) team. This role focuses on designing and developing critical infrastructure components that manage millions of compute instances at scale.

The CIMM services are responsible for orchestrating and automating the entire compute maintenance lifecycle, ensuring minimum disruptions and maintaining high availability for customer workloads. You'll work on systems that intelligently schedule maintenance tasks and facilitate both preventive and remediable maintenance actions across the compute fleet.

As a Senior Member of Technical Staff, you'll be both a rock solid coder and a distributed systems generalist. You'll need to dive deep into any part of the stack and low-level systems, while also designing broad distributed system interactions. The role requires someone who values simplicity and scale, works well in a collaborative environment, and is excited to learn.
