Oracle is seeking a Senior Principal Site Reliability Developer to join their SaaS Engineering team. This role combines DevOps expertise with cloud infrastructure management, focusing on Kubernetes, Grafana, and Oracle Weblogic technologies. The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies while ensuring the reliability and performance of large-scale distributed systems.
The role is part of Oracle's SaaS Reliability Engineering organization, where you'll be responsible for developing and supporting large-scale cloud deployments worldwide. You'll work with microservices architectures, service mesh technologies, and API gateways on Kubernetes. The position requires expert-level knowledge in monitoring and visualization using Grafana, along with strong troubleshooting skills for distributed systems.
As a Senior Principal SRE, you'll be part of a team that consolidates and simplifies IT operations across Oracle Cloud services. You'll collaborate with engineering teams to develop product modules and work with quality assurance teams to ensure high-quality service delivery. The role involves working with Oracle's next-generation technical stack, including Oracle Autonomous Database, WebLogic Server, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
The compensation package includes a competitive salary range of $104,200 to $251,600, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, and various other perks. Responsibilities For Senior Principal Site Reliability Developer
- Kubernetes administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Grafana and Prometheus Administration - Develop and implement custom dashboards
- Middleware Technology Expert - Oracle Weblogic Administration
- Automate operational tasks/deployments
- Ensure services are designed and delivered to be mission critical
- Collaborate with teams during Service outages and capacity expansion
Requirements For Senior Principal Site Reliability Developer
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle Weblogic with automation skills
- BS Computer Science or equivalent qualification
- Experience in cloud development languages Kubernetes, Python, and Prometheus
- Experience in Linux OS environments
- Experience in deploying large scale online systems on Cloud platforms
- Strong ability to solve operational problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in AI and ML preferred
- Knowledge of Java programming and SQL
