Senior SaaS Cloud Capacity Engineer

Oracle is seeking a Senior SaaS Cloud Capacity Engineer to join their team in driving cloud infrastructure optimization and capacity planning for their enterprise SaaS services. This role combines technical expertise in cloud architecture with strategic capacity planning and cost optimization.

As a Strategic Capacity Engineer, you'll work closely with SaaS Product teams to ensure mission-critical services are optimized for OCI cloud capacity at scale. You'll be responsible for translating complex technical architectures into actionable capacity plans and cost models, while driving infrastructure reliability improvements.

The position requires deep technical knowledge of cloud capacity topologies and their dependencies, with particular emphasis on Oracle DB, containerization, and cloud services. You'll engage in cross-functional collaboration, from individual contributors to executive leadership, making this an ideal role for someone who combines technical expertise with strong communication skills.

Key responsibilities include capacity engineering, cost optimization, automation initiatives, and strategic planning. You'll work with peer Cost Engineers on efficiency initiatives and forecasting efforts, while also supporting the Cloud Capacity Run the Business organization with detailed roadmaps and technical architecture analysis.
