Senior Site Reliability Development Engineer

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Development Engineer to join their Sovereign Cloud team in Singapore. This role focuses on building and operating government, classified, and sovereign cloud regions with the same reliability and high performance as public cloud. The position involves managing production environments, systems, and databases supporting critical business operations for Singapore's governmental sovereign cloud environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for automation and optimization of operations across multiple production environments, recommending solutions to improve availability, performance, and supportability. This role combines deep technical knowledge of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure with administration/analysis skills to provide escalation support for complex production environment challenges related to growth, scaling, cloud leveraging, high performance, and high availability requirements.

Key aspects of the role include guiding junior engineers in problem-solving, participating in large-scale incident management, and developing optimized processes and procedures. The position requires rotation across day and night shifts for 24/7 support coverage. This is an IC3 level position that offers opportunities to work with cutting-edge cloud technology while supporting critical government infrastructure.

The role requires strong expertise in Linux system administration, cloud operations, and modern DevOps tools like Kubernetes and Terraform. The successful candidate must be a Singaporean or PR due to security clearance requirements for government projects.
