The ideal candidate will be responsible for automation and optimization of operations across multiple production environments, recommending solutions to improve availability, performance, and supportability. This role combines deep technical knowledge of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure with administration/analysis skills to provide escalation support for complex production environment challenges related to growth, scaling, cloud leveraging, high performance, and high availability requirements.
Key aspects of the role include guiding junior engineers in problem-solving, participating in large-scale incident management, and developing optimized processes and procedures. The position requires rotation across day and night shifts for 24/7 support coverage.
