Senior Software Developer

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their Observability organization. This role focuses on building and managing cloud services in a distributed, multi-tenant environment. The position is part of the team delivering an Integrated Observability and Management platform that works across OCI, other clouds, and on-premises systems.

The role requires strong technical leadership and hands-on development experience. You'll be working on the OCI Logging service, which serves as a single pane of glass for all logs across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This is a critical position that combines architectural decision-making with practical implementation.

As a Senior Software Developer, you'll be responsible for:

• Leading technical direction and architectural decisions
• Building and designing microservices and cloud-native applications
• Working with distributed systems in a fault-tolerant, highly available environment
• Contributing to the development of cloud services using modern programming languages
• Mentoring junior team members and collaborating with cross-functional teams

The ideal candidate brings 3-5+ years of experience, strong distributed systems knowledge, and expertise in cloud technologies. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial.
