Join Oracle's Fusion Data Intelligence Team as a Senior Software Developer! We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate developer with extensive experience in full-stack development. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to design, troubleshoot, and develop cutting-edge Analytics Applications, contributing to the innovation and success of our products.
You will play a key role in the design and development of the Fusion Data Intelligence Control Plane and Fleet Manager, which serve as the core infrastructure of our enterprise-scale analytics platform. These critical components are responsible for orchestrating data flows, provisioning resources, managing multi-tenant deployments, and ensuring high availability and reliability of our services.
The position requires strong technical expertise in Java, Python, and cloud technologies, along with experience in distributed systems and containerization. You'll work with state-of-the-art cloud products and join one of the most successful, dynamic, and fastest-growing business units at Oracle.
Key Technical Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise distributed systems
- Expertise in Java and Python development
- Strong knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, Git, Spring, Jenkins, and Linux
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Understanding of cloud platforms (OCI or AWS)

Responsibilities For Senior Software Developer (US citizenship required)
- Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software
- Apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications
- Participate in devops on call rotations for US Gov and Commercial cloud deployments
- Design and development of the Fusion Data Intelligence Control Plane and Fleet Manager
- Orchestrate data flows, provisioning resources, managing multi-tenant deployments
- Ensure high availability and reliability of services
Requirements For Senior Software Developer (US citizenship required)
- BS or MS degree in computer science, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience developing and delivering enterprise distributed or cloud-native systems. 7+ years preferred
- Demonstrated ability to write great code in Java and Python
- Solid understanding of SQL, JavaScript, Git, Spring, Jenkins, and Linux
- Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong knowledge of all parts of SDLC
- Strong grasp of system design fundamentals and distributed systems best practices
- Knowledge or expertise with one of the major Cloud providers (OCI or AWS preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication (English) skills
- US citizenship required
