Senior Software Development Engineer, JoinOCI

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join their Infrastructure Delivery Engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to build and operate massive scale, integrated cloud services in a distributed, multi-tenant environment.

The position focuses on building services and tools to accelerate OCI's compute and network capacity growth, managing physical assets throughout their lifecycle. This is a greenfield development environment with significant autonomy, allowing for innovation while integrating with existing systems.

As a senior engineer, you'll be working on:

• Designing and implementing highly available and scalable services for managing physical assets
• Building control plane/data plane solutions for cloud infrastructure
• Contributing to a fast-paced, innovative environment
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions

The ideal candidate brings:

• 3-5+ years of experience in software development
• Strong expertise in Java or Python programming
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud architecture
• Experience with service-oriented design patterns
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
