Senior Technical Operations Engineer

At Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), we build the more intelligent future of cloud. This role is part of the OCI Sovereign Cloud team, focusing on government, classified, and sovereign cloud regions. As a Senior Technical Operations Engineer, you'll be responsible for operating production environments, including systems and databases that support critical business operations. You'll perform administration and analysis for multiple production environments and recommend solutions to improve availability, performance, and supportability.

The role combines deep technical knowledge with administration/analysis expertise of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure to provide escalation support for complex production environment problems. You'll tackle challenges related to immense growth, scaling, cloud leveraging, high performance, and high availability requirements.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Managing and optimizing production server infrastructure
• Leading complex technical problem resolution
• Coordinating with internal teams and vendors
• Maintaining cloud environment stability
• Working in a 24/7 support rotation

This position requires Singaporean citizenship or PR status and may require security clearance for government projects. The ideal candidate will have strong Linux administration skills, cloud operations experience, and a passion for customer success.
