Senior Technical Operations Engineer

As a Senior Technical Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Operating production environments, including systems and databases supporting critical business operations
• Performing administration and analysis for multiple production environments
• Recommending solutions to improve availability, performance, and supportability
• Providing escalation support for complex production environment problems
• Working with deep technical knowledge of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure

The role requires a combination of Linux system administration, networking, storage, compute, and virtualization skills. You'll be part of a team providing 24/7 support with rotation across day and night shifts. The position demands strong technical abilities, customer focus, and the capability to quickly learn new technical disciplines.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Installing, monitoring, and optimizing production server hardware and software
• Leading problem management cases and providing management status
• Coordinating escalated support cases with internal resources and third-party vendors
• Managing Oracle production environments including upgrades, bug fixes, and patching
• Working on standardization projects for hardware and software under the Oracle technology stack

The ideal candidate will have native-level Japanese language skills, business-level English proficiency, and experience with cloud technical support, operations, or NOC.
