Site Reliability Developer 3

Oracle is seeking a Site Reliability Developer 3 to join their dedicated SaaS Infrastructure and Operations team. This role focuses on provisioning extensible, secure, and reliable infrastructure for customers. The position involves solving complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and building automation to prevent problem recurrence.

As an SRD, you'll be responsible for working with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team on shared full stack ownership of services and technology areas. You'll need to understand end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and behavioral characteristics of production services. The role emphasizes security, resiliency, scale, and performance in the design and delivery of mission-critical stack.

Key aspects of the role include partnering with development teams to improve service architecture, articulating technical characteristics of services, and implementing premier capabilities in the Oracle Cloud service portfolio. You'll need deep understanding of service topology and dependencies for troubleshooting, plus expertise in automation and orchestration principles.

The position requires strong technical skills including Linux experience, Python programming, and DevOps practices. You'll work on projects to enhance availability, scalability, and efficiency while maintaining service availability goals. The role involves incident management, capacity planning, and system tuning.
