Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Site Reliability Developer to join their National Security Region team. This role combines traditional SRE responsibilities with a focus on secured environments and government customers. You'll be part of a team responsible for maintaining and optimizing critical cloud infrastructure services, ensuring their security, reliability, and performance.

The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and offers a comprehensive compensation package ranging from $63,000 to $126,100 annually. Based in either Austin, TX or Reston, VA, you'll work with cutting-edge cloud technology while supporting Oracle's government clients.

As an SRE Developer, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end performance and operability of critical infrastructure services. Your role will involve deploying code, managing changes, troubleshooting production issues, and working closely with development teams to improve service architecture.   • Perform maintenance to services running within secured regions
  • Deploy code and implement other changes
  • Ensure timely resolution and documentation of incidents
  • Monitor the region for faults, alarms, and other errors
  • Act as a point of escalation for incidents
  • Troubleshoot operational issues on behalf of service teams
  • Partner with development teams in defining and implementing improvements in service architecture

Requirements For Site Reliability Developer Join OCI-Ns2

  • Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI w/Polygraph Government Security clearance
  • Degree in computer related field, or 1-3 year experience equivalent
  • Experience with Linux and infrastructure support and server administration
  • Experience with managing secured services across distributed systems and geographies
  • Demonstrable ability to quickly learn new technical domains
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of cloud concepts, platforms, and distributed systems
