Site Reliability Developer (JoinOCI-Ns2)

Oracle is seeking a Site Reliability Developer to join their Cloud Infrastructure team. This role involves solving complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and building automation to prevent problem recurrence. The position is available in multiple locations including Seattle, WA, Reston, VA, and Austin, TX, operating in a 24x7 environment with various shift options.

The role focuses on designing and developing solutions for large-scale distributed systems, facilitating service capacity planning, and working with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team on shared full stack ownership of services. As an SRE, you'll split time between operational work (maintaining services and troubleshooting production issues) and software engineering tasks (designing and developing systems for improved reliability and scalability). The position requires a strong background in programming, networking, internet protocols, and Linux systems.

Key responsibilities include partnering with feature teams, building automation systems, practicing sustainable incident response, and driving root cause analysis.
