Site Reliability Engineer - Database

Oracle is seeking a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer with database expertise to join their growing Cloud DevOps team. The role focuses on creating and managing Oracle Database Autonomous Recovery Service, providing industry-leading data protection services that customers depend on. This position requires an active TS/SCI w/Poly security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

The team is responsible for ensuring all components of Recovery Cloud Services work seamlessly together, defining and developing end-to-end automation of complex workflows. You'll work across various technologies and teams to deliver this new service, constantly pushing boundaries and learning while delivering mission-critical services.

As an SRE, you'll be involved in full stack ownership, focusing on security, resiliency, scale, and performance. The role requires deep understanding of service topology, troubleshooting capabilities, and expertise in automation and orchestration principles. You'll work with technologies like Terraform, Oracle Database, Linux, RMAN, and Exadata.
