Software Developer 3

Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team is seeking a Software Developer 3 to join their Network Automation team. This role focuses on building large-scale distributed infrastructure for the cloud, specifically within OCI Networking. The position involves developing and maintaining distributed services to manage OCI networks, with emphasis on automating monitoring and management of large fleets of networking devices.

The role is part of a collaborative team culture that prioritizes excellent customer experience, scalable architecture, and manageable operations. You'll be working on critical infrastructure that requires high availability and security, while maintaining a good work/life balance. The team is responsible for onboarding new generation network technologies, deployment tooling, patching, fleet monitoring and automation, and security controls.

As a Software Developer 3, you'll be working with Linux systems, programming in Python, BASH, and Java, while applying embedded systems knowledge. The position requires strong technical skills combined with the ability to work in an agile environment.
