Oracle Health and AI (OHAI) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Platform team. This role is part of Oracle's new organization focused on product development and strategy for Oracle Health, building a complete platform for modernized, automated healthcare.
The position primarily focuses on automation and the design, development, and implementation of reports and dashboards to meet business requirements and improve data visualization capabilities. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for crafting, developing, and maintaining automation processes that streamline operations, particularly in Modernization efforts.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with strong expertise in Java, distributed systems, and database technologies. You'll work with technologies such as Ruby, Terraform, and Kubernetes to develop reliable deployment systems. The role requires deep understanding of software architecture patterns, cloud platforms, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities For Software Developer 3
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams for database automation requirements
- Develop scripts, tools, and apps for automating database tasks
- Work with Database Administrators to capture insights and requirements
- Contribute to documentation of automation workflows and processes
- Design, develop, and implement reports and dashboards
- Mentor new associates and facilitate knowledge transfer
- Participate in roadmap project execution
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements For Software Developer 3
- 5+ years of total experience with Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT/CS/related field
- Experienced Full Stack developer with Java
- Proficient in designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems
- Experience in SQL/PLSQL, SQL Tuning
- Experience in building tools and automation using Shell or Python
- Deep understanding of Software architecture patterns, Design Patterns
- Strong understanding of Database Architecture and Unix/Linux systems
- Experience on Oracle OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
