Technical Operations Engineer

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Technical Operations Engineer to join their team supporting government customers. This role combines deep technical expertise with cloud infrastructure administration to support critical business operations. The position requires an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and must be located in either Reston VA, Austin TX, or Seattle WA.

As a Technical Operations Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing production environments, including systems and databases that support crucial business operations. You'll perform administration and analysis across multiple production environments while developing innovative solutions to enhance availability, performance, and supportability. This role offers an opportunity to leverage deep technical knowledge of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure to provide escalation support for complex production environment challenges related to growth, scaling, cloud deployment, high performance, and high availability requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience, strong Linux system administration skills, and experience with cloud technologies. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, participating in incident management and providing on-call support.
