Description For Technical Operations Engineer

As a Technical Operations Engineer, you'll be responsible for the operation of production environments, including systems and databases, supporting critical business operations. You'll perform administration and analysis for multiple production environments and recommend solutions to improve availability, performance, and supportability. This role combines deep technical knowledge with administration/analysis of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure to provide escalation support for complex production environment problems.

You'll work with cutting-edge cloud technology, handle challenging technical issues, and be part of a team that ensures high availability and performance of critical infrastructure. The role offers opportunities to work with government and classified projects, requiring a security clearance. You'll be joining a world leader in cloud solutions with over 40 years of industry experience and a strong focus on innovation.

Responsibilities For Technical Operations Engineer

  • Install, monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all production server hardware and software
  • Provide escalated technical support for complex technical issues
  • Coordinate escalated support cases and lead problem resolution
  • Responsible for Oracle production environments
  • Provide on-call support on a rotating basis

Requirements For Technical Operations Engineer

Linux
Kubernetes
  • Experience with Linux System Administration, Networking, Storage, Compute, and Virtualization
  • Experience participating in or running incident bridges
  • Customer focus, passion for delighting customers
  • Experience in cloud technical support, operations, NOC or similar is preferred
  • Demonstrate ability to quickly learn new technical disciplines
  • Must be Singaporean or PR
  • Security clearance required
